In focus: All about grinding solutions
On 30.10.2019 it was finally time: Our first seminar in Canada, together with our sales team member Tim Tripp, was on the agenda. Since a new GDL 25 plus drum feeder DA 595 was delivered to Ontario, it was worth organizing a seminar there. At the seminar everything revolved around the topic of grinding techniques for animal nutrition.
Among other things, the similarities and differences between Europe and North America were discussed. Our managing director, Thomas Runde, also gave a lecture on alternative grinding concepts. The focus was on the precise implementation of customer wishes. He explained how different grinding concepts work and highlighted differences and similarities.
In addition to current case studies from Greece and Paraguay, there was a lecture on "Energy-efficient design and operation - is it worth it?”. The main focus was on the industrial processes involved in grinding. The effects of different influencing factors were explained as well as the efficiencies and their handling.
In addition, Dirk Gering and Tim Tripp gave a lecture on explosion protection and how it can be improved in companies. Tietjen mills were among the first to have door locking and stand-still monitors a standard feature. Since the early 1990s, Tietjen has been constantly working on improving the systems, including the further development of explosion protection.
Once again, we would like to thank all participants. Many thanks also to Tim who organized this event. If you have any questions about the seminar in Elora, feel free to send Tim an e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
