Large chamber mill - Type SD

Series SD 20

The mill type SD has been designed for processing of fibres. In particular it is suitable for grinding of Straw, Hey, Cornco, Alfalfa, Hemp and Jute fiber.

The SD series comprises of five sizes and a range between 90 and 315 kW for the drive.

All machines are designed for pneumatic transport of the product.

  • Asymmetric housing with product intake from the side and Stone trap for foreign Body separation
  • Product discharge for pneumatic transport
  • Hard faced Impact segments in the grinding chamber, exchangeable
  • Exchangeable comb at the mill inlet
  • Foreign Body trap inside the grinding chamber, easy to clean
  • Special rotor design, run down time less than 6 minutes without brake
  • Three-part screen set with chain tensioning allows changing of single sieves according to wear
  • Change sieves while mill has stopped
  • Automatic safety door lock with standstill Monitoring system
