We train: Our current trainees

Some of our trainees (from left to right): David Bornkessel, Kevin Morgenstern and Tobias Pantelmann

As every year, we were again able to welcome our new trainees on 1 August, for whom a new phase of life begins this year. In addition to two apprentices in the commercial and technical areas, we are pleased to welcome a dual student to our team for the first time.

We receive active support from our two apprentices, Mr. Anton Glismann, apprenticed as an industrial mechanic, and Mr. Merlin Körner, apprenticed as an technical product designer.

As specialists in grinding technology, we would also like to pass on our specialist knowledge to motivated and committed students. In cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg (HAW), Tietjen offers technically interested high school graduates the opportunity of a dual bachelor's degree with a focus on process engineering (B.Sc.). Mr. David Bornkessel has just started this and will strengthen our team for the next 3.5 years. He is a trained cutting technician and would like to develop further with his studies.

The subject of training and the promotion of young talent is very important to us. With currently 6 trainees and students, we are making an important contribution to the future of young people in our region. This also includes our two experienced trainees:
Kevin Morgenstern (3rd year of training) and Tobias Pantelmann (2nd year of training), future industrial mechanics at Tietjen.

We also offer interested students and high school graduates the opportunity to gain first impressions of professional life and insights into our different apprenticeships as part of a "taster" internship.

We wish all trainees a great start and look forward to many exciting years together!
