Grinding system for pet food manufacturer inaugurated in Johannesburg

To expand their feed production capacity in the spring of 2019, a new GDL 25 and crossyoke plansifter was commissioned at AFGRI Animal Feeds near Johannesburg. With a production capacity of around 1 million tonnes a year, AFGRI Animal Feeds is one of South Africa’s leading animal feed manufacturers. The products are manufactured with care, on the basis of innovative technologies, research and processes. The aim is to ensure optimum feed quality.

Ultramodern grinding system

With a production capacity of around 1 million tonnes a year, AFGRI Animal Feeds is one of South Africa’s leading animal feed manufacturers. The products are manufactured with care, on the basis of innovative technologies, research and processes. The aim is to ensure optimum feed quality. It is only when they have good, nourishing feed that animals yield their best results and remain healthy.

To expand their feed production capacity in the spring of 2019, a new GDL 25 and crossyoke plansifter was commissioned at AFGRI Animal Feeds near Johannesburg. The GDL 25 is a large chamber mill which can be used both for coarse grinding in mixed feed production and fine grinding for pet food and aquafeed. The crossyoke plansifter is suitable for a wide range of applications. The patented sieve cleaner ensures flexibility of use. The modern design and compact dimensions enable quick assembly and top performance.
