Machines for grinding fibers
Tietjen machines grind natural fibers to a defined length. The biomass shredder BMS ensures coarse grinding for use as a substrate for biogas plants. Hammer mills ensure fine grinding.
Our machines process these fibers
- Straw (rice straw, wheat straw, maize straw)
- Hay
- Alfalfa
- Miscanthus
- Hemp
- Jute
- Coconut, coconut fibers
- Wood fibers
Preparing and grinding fibers
To obtain fibers, the raw materials are grind and shredded using hammer mills or the biomass shredder BMS, depending on their use. Product qualities differ according to particle size or fiber length. Lignin-protected components can often only be made accessible for material or energy use after appropriate grinding.
Tietjen supplies hammer mills and complete systems for processing shells, stalks, straw or grown wood, whether in a dry state or as fresh wood with a high water content.
