How We Make Agricultural Residues Usable
Agricultural residues are attractive because they are typically inexpensive, regionally available, and found in large quantities. On the other hand, its use often involves a number of technical challenges. As a large proportion of agricultural waste contains high levels of cellulose and lignin. These are difficult to convert in biological systems and cause problems when feeding mechanical systems and during fermentation.
Hammer mill grinds residual materials
Our hammer mills and shredders break down this material through impact grinding. In contrast to cutting, impact crushing uses wide beaters to break down the biomass, thereby breaking up and destroying its entire structure. This creates a very large specific surface area, which greatly improves biological degradation and solves many mechanical problems.
