Grinding systems are supplied with supply air through the feeder. The Tietjen A-Vent supply air valve is a passive non-return valve which is integrated into all Tietjen feeding devices. Should the aspiration volume flow drop and the pressure in the grinding module increase due to an explosion, the non-return valve safely decouples until the overpressure drops. It therefore reliably prevents the leakage of explosive material and flames.
